Nepal has entered the World Cup qualifying stage for ICC Men's Cricket World Cup

 With the help of Kushal Bhurtel, Bhim Sarki, Arif Sekh and Gulshan Jha's half-centuries, Nepal has reached the World Cup qualifiers.



After winning the toss at the Trivi International Cricket Ground on Thursday, UAE, who batted first, lost 6 wickets in the scheduled 50 overs and set a target of 310 runs.


Nepal defeated UAE in the final match of the triangular series under ICC Men's Cricket World Cup League-2. Due to 'bad light' Nepal won by 9 runs according to DL (Duckworth Lewis) rules. With this, Nepal has entered the World Cup qualifying stage. Thursday's match is the biggest and most important in Nepali cricket history. After winning today's match, Nepal overtook Namibia with 39 points to play the one-day World Cup qualifiers in Zimbabwe.

Nepal U19 has qualified for the ICC U19 World Cup

 The last time Nepal played the U19 World Cup was in 2016.



Nepal U19 has qualified for the ICC U19 World Cup next year in Sri Lanka by winning by seven runs against UAE. 


Captain Dev, who faced 84 balls for Nepal, played an innings of 51 runs with three fours and one six. Similarly, except for Uttam Rangu Thapa Magar's 36, Vishal Vikram KC's 38 runs, the performance of other batsmen was not significant. Similarly, Harsit Seth and Amar Badami took one wicket each.
